With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Robert Allen Willard, who peacefully left us on June 24, 2025 at 3:42 p.m., surrounded by family. He was 86 years old.
Born on April 29, 1939 in Boissevain, Va., Robert was the beloved son of the late Margaret and Joseph Willard.
Robert had a deep appreciation for the simple joys of the countryside.
For 58 cherished years, Robert shared his life with his devoted wife, Peggy Willard. Together they created a strong and loving family and a lifetime of memories that will be treasured forever.
Robert was the father of five daughters: Donna Weaver, Brenda Brousseau, Janet Ensey, Deborah Cox (deceased) and Teresa Hamrick. He was also a loving brother to three sisters: Charlotte Slattery, Pat Hartline and Caroline Prendergast; one brother, Thomas Willard (deceased) and a proud grandfather to nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Robert found great peace and happiness in the quiet beauty of the country. He loved the land he called home and took pride in keeping it well-tended. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
