Morgan County Schools celebrates 2025 retirees, 180 years of service

Morgan County Schools 2025 retirees were honored during a retirement celebration dinner at the Country Inn on Wednesday, June 11.

Eight school professional and service personnel retired this year, ending a collective 180 years of service to the county school system.

Berkeley Springs High School library media/technology integration specialist Teresa Yost retired after 27 years of service to Morgan County Schools.

Morgan County Schools executive secretary Betsy Buser retired after 21 years of service to the school system.

Widmyer Elementary aide/ECCAT (early childhood classroom assistant teacher) Tama Hiles retired after 27 years of service to Morgan County Schools.

Bus driver Chuck Bergen retired after 26 years of service to Morgan County Schools.

Warm Springs Middle School cook II Debra Byrd retired after 25 years of service to the school system.

Berkeley Springs High School multi-categorical special education teacher Michael Wilder retired after 21 years of service to Morgan County Schools.

Berkeley Springs High School math teacher Sherry Hartman retired after 15 years of service to the school system.

Former Warm Springs Middle School cafeteria manager Lisa Perry retired after 18 years of service to Morgan County Schools.
