1934-2025
Louise Gill Williams, age 90, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
Born July 15, 1934 in Spring Dale, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late James Leonard and Orpha Orlena Daniels Gill.
She was a graduate of Meadowbridge High School in Meadowbridge, W.Va.
Louise was a bookkeeper with her husband, Lowell at Sohio and was a pharmacy assistant in Hancock, Md. She was a homemaker in recent years and loved her family.
Louise loved God and was a good cook, an avid reader, played bingo and loved volunteering at the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen in Hagerstown, Md.
Louise is survived by her children, Ruth, Lois, Douglas, Janet and Shirley, four sisters, Arlene, Freda, Gaye and Carolyn, one brother, Tommy, 11 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Williams, one sister, Eva and one brother, Edward.
Services and interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Louise’s memory may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
