Lewis Richard Waugh, Sr.
1933-2025
Lewis Richard Waugh, Sr., age 91, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025 at War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
Born July 23, 1933, he was the son of Charles Raymond and Audra Catherine Iden Waugh.
Lewis attended Morgan County Schools.
He was a brick mason.
He served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
He is survived by four children, Tanya Lynn Lineweaver (Steve), Lewis Richard Waugh, Jr., Michael Todd Waugh and Angela Kathryn Gaither, all of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., six grandchildren, Lewis Richard Waugh III, Jennifer Kathryn Miller, Brittney LeAnn Waugh, Nichole Sue Yost, Erika Dawn Keefer and Jermey Douglas McCusker, nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Gary Lee Waugh, one sister, Ruth Alean Myers and two brothers, Robert “Larry” Waugh and Roger D. Waugh.
Funeral services will be private.
