March is Youth Art Month at the MAC Icehouse in Berkeley Springs, featuring an exhibit representing student artists from across Morgan County.
Families have been coming through to see the art and take photos in front of their child’s work hanging on the wall since the show opened.
A surprising display of creativity, effort, technique and imagination greets visitors to the Ice House.
All county schools, including Berkeley Springs High School, Warm Springs Middle School, Warm Springs Intermediate School, Widmyer Elementary School, Pleasant View Elementary School, Paw Paw schools, and home schoolers were represented.
A silent auction is being held to benefit Berkeley Springs High School’s National Honor Society.
For the first time, two interactive exhibits were included, called Monet’s Garden glow room, and Prismo.
The Ice House Gallery is located at 138 Independence Street in Berkeley Springs.
The Youth Art Show may be seen every Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., through March 30.
