Paw Paw senior standout Donovan Tanouye capped off an impressive high school basketball career by reaching the coveted 1,000-point milestone while leading the Pirates in scoring, steals, assists and rebounds during the 2024-25 season. His all-around dominance on the court earned him a well-deserved spot on the Potomac Valley Conference (PVC) Division 3 All-PVC Boys Basketball Team.
Tanouye’ s performance was instrumental for the Pirates, consistently making an impact on both ends of the floor. His ability to score from anywhere, create plays for teammates, and lock down opponents defensively set him apart as one of the premier players in the conference.
The Potomac Valley Conference Division 3 All-PVC Boys Basketball Team for the 2024-25 season features a talented group of athletes, including: Evan Hamilton (Junior) – East Hardy; Jordan Teets (Senior) – East Hardy; Gideon Good (Sophomore) – East Hardy; Donovan Tanouye (Senior) – Paw Paw; Braylon Ward (Sophomore) – Union; Corbin Streets (Junior) – Union and Grady Shifflett (Junior) – Harman.
For Tanouye, his All-PVC selection and 1,000-point achievement mark the culmination of years of hard work and dedication to the sport. As he prepares for the next chapter, he leaves a lasting legacy at Paw Paw High School, inspiring future Pirates to strive for greatness on the hardwood.
