The Berkeley Springs Indians wrestling team was back on the mat after a long layoff with a home dual against Bedford, Pa., on Thursday, February 13.
Before the match the Indians recognized senior wrestlers Natalie Andrews (mat stat), Aiden Cain, Daniel Clark, Mikell Gusciora, Krystian Norris, Delilah Rhoten, Remi Sites, Kollin Sullivan and Evan Zombro.



Berkeley Springs then hit the mat and was able to take a 39-29 win over the visitors from Pennsylvania. Earning wins for the Tribe were Eligah Parsell (126, forfeit), Mikell Gusciora (138, for- feit), Kaiden Proctor (150, decision), Trent Fox (157, decision), Kollin Sullivan (165, pin), Garrin Place (175, pin), Krystian Norris (190, decision) and Remi Sites (285, pin).
Next up for the Indians is the Class A/AA Region I Championships on February 21 and February 22 at St. Mary’s High School. Top four from each weight class will qualify for the West Virginia Class A/AA State Wrestling Championships in Huntington on March 6-8.
