David Alan Chilcote

David Alan Chilcote, 71, of Great Cacapon, W.Va., son of late John and Elizabeth Chilcote, passed away on January 25, 2025 in Hagerstown, Md.

He is survived by his two children, Tricia Prestridge and Patrick Chilcote; his two grandsons and a great grandson; his wife, Gail Chilcote; her two children, Barbara Vosburgh and Tommy Hatchel; along with grandchildren and a great grandchild. He was also survived by two sisters Delores Chilcote and Patricia Finlayson and three brothers Vernon, John and Charles.

Dave was self employed as a furniture upholsterer.

He was very involved with the Moose Lodge in Berkeley Springs.

He enjoyed camping, watching the birds, piddling in the yard and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by all his friends and family.

A celebration of life will be held at the Moose Lodge in Berkeley Spring on March 1 from 2-6 p.m.
