Indians Wrestling split Tri-Match at Northern Garrett

Berkeley Springs Indians wrestling team traveled to Accident, Md., this past Tuesday, January 28 for a tri-match at Northern Garrett High School. The Indian wrestlers were prepared to take on the homestanding Huskies and the Southern Garrett Rams.

In the first match the Indians were able to secure a 44- 24 win over the Southern Garrett Rams. Picking up wins were Eligah Parsell (113), Vaughn Taylor (120), Daniel Clark (126), Jacob Morgan (132), Kowen Proctor (144), Kaiden Proctor (150), Kollin Sullivan (190), Krystian Norris (215) and Chris Stadler (285).

In the second match the Indians lost to 46-29 to the Northern Garrett Huskies. Picking up wins were Parsell (113), Clark (126), Morgan (132), Ko. Proctor (144), Garrin Place (175), Sullivan (190) and Remi Sites (285).

Next up for Berkeley Springs is a home match on Thursday, February 13 at 6 p.m. This will also be senior night recognition.
