by Jamie Harris

This past weekend at Frankfort High School the Berkeley Springs Lady Indians wrestling team participated in the PVC Wrestling Championships. Berkeley Springs, East Hardy, Frankfort, and Moorefield each had female wrestlers competing for championship honors.

Sophomore Bailee Diehl (114) captured her PVC title with a pin and forfeit. Senior Delilah Rhoten (120) captured her PVC title with a pin and decision. Willow Rhoten (145) had a pin to record her PVC title. Freshman Nora

McDonald (132) was second place in her first season of wrestling.

The Lady Indians were without two starters Chloe Prather (106) and Natalie Koontz (175). Koontz will be out for the remainder of the season with a knee injury.
