Mary Anne Ghantous
1940-2024
Mary Anne Ghantous, age 84, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Thursday, December 26, 2024 at her home.
Born February 9, 1940 in Boston, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary Anne Flynn Marad.
Mary Anne was a college graduate with a degree in accounting and management.
She worked as a bookkeeper. She was the treasurer and active volunteer at Friends of The Library in Berkeley Springs. She enjoyed gardening and reading novels.
Mary Anne is survived by two children, a daughter, Samantha McDill (Christopher) and a son, Sami Ghantous (Vanessa), three sisters, Janice Blake, Kathleen Jones and Karen Glancy, two brothers, David Marad and Richard Marad, and three grandchildren, Max, Kathryn and Bella.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Antoun Ghantous.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
