A Berkeley Springs man has pled guilty in a Maryland court to sexual solicitation of a minor.
According to online court records, on November 12, Judge Joseph Michael of the Washington County Circuit Court accepted the plea from Jeremy Eric Winfield, Jr., 30, and sentenced him to 10 years in prison, with all but 18 months of prison time suspended.
Winfield will also serve three years under supervised probation and must register as a Tier II Sex Offender.
He was charged with one count sexual solicitation of a minor, a felony.
Winfield was one of three men arrested in June of this year and charged with solicitation of a minor in a Washington County sting.
