The Berkeley Springs Indians hosted the Philip Barbour Colts under the lights of Morgan Field last Friday, October 4, in a tough battle that ended in a 47-14 loss for the home team.
Philip Barbour set the tone early and proved to be a formidable opponent throughout the game, steadily building a lead that Berkeley Springs couldn’t overcome. The Indians, led by senior quarterback Aiden Cain, managed to find the end zone twice. Cain delivered both touchdowns for Berkeley Springs, showcasing his leadership on the field. DJ Hinckle successfully kicked the extra points to add to the score.

With the loss, Berkeley Springs drops to 2-4 on the season. The team will have a bye week this Friday, providing a much-needed break before traveling to face Hampshire (3-3) on Friday, October 18.
