by Lisa Schauer

The Morgan County CEOS Garden Club is hosting a groundbreaking ceremony for a new 9-11 memorial garden at the old War Memorial Hospital complex on Wednesday, September 11.

The ADA accessible community garden will be located at the WVU Extension Office, 80 War Memorial Trail in Berkeley Springs.

The 9-11 memorial garden will be a tribute to American lives lost in the terrorist attacks that occurred in New York, Virginia, and Pennsylvania 23 years ago, on September 11, 2001.

The groundbreaking ceremony will take place from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
