The Morgan County Commissioners proclaimed August 2024 as Quilt Month in the county at the request of the Delectable Mountain Quilt Guild. The guild holds its annual Quilt Show at the Ice House Arts Center and conducts the Yard Square Quilt charitable auction to raise funds for a local service organization.
