The Morgan County School Board approved the following personnel changes at their July 1 meeting. Personnel changes included approving hiring a new assistant principal and long-term substitute teachers along with authorizing transfers, summer personnel, resignations and restructuring positions.
Joy Woofler-Rondon was hired as Warm Springs Intermediate School’s new Assistant Principal beginning July 2. The former Assistant Principal, Christie Butts, has moved to Pleasant View Elementary to become that school’s principal.
David Mundey, Warm Springs Middle School, multi-categorical special education teacher for students with autism, transferred to a position as Warm Springs Middle School alternative education teacher starting August 12.
Krista Shives, Widmyer Elementary second grade teacher, transferred to a position as Widmyer Elementary kindergarten teacher beginning August 12.
Taylor Tyser, Widmyer Elementary pre-K/pre-school special needs (PSSN) teacher, transferred to a position as county itinerant pre-K/pre-school special needs (PSSN) teacher starting August 12.
Robert Wallace resigned as Paw Paw Schools halftime art teacher/halftime music teacher effective at the end of July 15.
Rustine Bingaman resigned as Berkeley Springs High School health/physical education teacher effective at the end of June 30.
Melisha Souders resigned as a substitute teacher effective at the end of June 30.
Long-term substitutes
McKayla Romo was employed as a Warm Springs Middle School long-term substitute math teacher beginning August 12 for the 2024-2025 school year or until a fully certified candidate is employed.
Payton King was hired as a Warm Springs Middle School long-term substitute science teacher starting August 12 for the 2024-2025 school year or until a fully certified candidate is employed.
Service personnel
The school board restructured Patricia Munson’s Clerk II, transportation position (210 days) to Clerk II (225 days) beginning July 1 by agreement.
Haylee Rusnak was employed as Widmyer Elementary cook II beginning August 12.
Summer personnel
Summer Goller was hired as MC After 3 summer camp project director from July 18 to August 6 as needed.
Coaches
Hana Hendrickson resigned as Paw Paw Schools assistant middle school volleyball coach effective at the end of June 27.
