Rhonda Sue Miller White
1967-2024
On Wednesday, May 15, 2024, Rhonda Sue Miller White, age 56, of Hedgesville, West Virginia, passed away after a battle with congestive heart failure.
She was born in Prince George’s County, Maryland in 1967 to Dennis L. Miller and the late Ruth E. Miller.
Rhonda graduated from Berkeley Springs High School in 1985, was in the National Honor Society, and played basketball and softball. Rhonda attended Shepherd University where she played basketball, graduating in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education. She was inducted into the BSHS Sports Hall of Fame in 2020.
Rhonda taught at Berkeley Springs High School, coached sports and was a Developmental Specialist throughout West Virginia for twenty years, teaching children with special needs and their families in many different facets of life and development.
She was also a foster parent and respite provider. Rhonda was best known for her generous spirit.
She was predeceased by her mother and all her grandparents.
She leaves behind a son, Treyson S. W. White, her father Dennis (Patricia) Miller of Vienna, W.Va., brother Timothy (Deirdra) Miller of Winchester, Va., a niece, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was baptized into the Lord’s church in 1989 and was a member at the Central Church of Christ in Martinsburg, W.Va.
A memorial service will be held on June 15, 2024, at 1 p.m. at the Central Church of Christ, 90 Waverly Ct., Martinsburg.
