Hey, Girlfriend! weekend, June 5-9 will kick off Thursday night with local special offers. Friday night is Ladies’ Night Downtown, with shops staying open until 8 p.m. and offering tasty samples and shopping sales. Bars and restaurants will have special menus, and entertainment can be found at the car show in Berkeley Springs State Park and Black Cat Music’s Open Mic. 
Throughout the weekend, businesses around town are offering activities and special pricings for outings, services and merchandise.
Several free events, sponsored by Travel Berkeley Springs, will get visitors moving.
Movement offerings include yoga in the park Saturday morning at 9 a.m. or Sunday morning at 10 a.m., a belly dancing class at the Ice House Saturday at 4 p.m., and a pool party at Berkeley Springs State park on Saturday evening, 5:30-8 p.m.
Hot pink photo frames will be found around town to capture the fun. Post pics with the hashtag #HeyGirlfriend2024 for a chance to win a gift certificate to one of over 40 businesses.
Local shop owner, Kate Kolbe of Mineral Springs Trading Co., said, “I love how the business community works together in Berkeley Springs. Everyone has been coming up with great ideas to create a fabulous weekend. We are really rolling out the *hot pink* carpet!”
Local ladies are encouraged to participate in a “getaway” in your own hometown.
