Joseph Henry Apple IV
Joseph Henry Apple IV died after a short illness on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at Inova Loudoun Hospital.
He was born in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., the son of Joseph Henry Apple III and Mattie Medora West Apple who predeceased him.
He graduated from Berkeley Springs High School. He attended West Virginia University where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Joe is survived by his cousin Ken McApline (Kathy) and Ken’s sons, Cullen and Graham (Kori) and longtime friend Donna Tomlinson.
Joe worked for many years in communications designing and implementing networks in the U.S. and other countries. During those years Joe lived in Frederick, Md., Herndon, Va. and Reston, Va. Joe was a longtime active member of Floris United Methodist Church in Herndon, Va.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Floris United Methodist Church on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 11 a.m.
