Mary Ellen Rich
1940-2023
Mary Ellen Rich, age 83, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, Md.
Born May 27, 1940 in Amaranth, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Marion and Martha Dawson Farris.
She attended Trinity United Methodist Church.
Mary was a graduate of Sparrows Point High School in Sparrows Point, Md.
She was a homemaker to her children and family. Mary was a cake baker and an avid stamp collector.
Mary was survived by her children, Ritz Susanne Edelman of Grafton, W.Va., Robert Preston Rich of Cumberland, Md. and Daniel Alan Rich of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; one sister, Betty Jean Kidwell of Paw Paw, W.Va.; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Judy Roach.
Services and burial will be private.
