Gayle Richard “Hink” Cain
1941-2023
Gayle Richard “Hink” Cain, age 82, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Monday, October 23, 2023 at Julia Manor Nursing Home in Hagerstown, Md.
Born August 11, 1941 in Morgan County, W.Va., he was the son of James Wilbur Sylvester Cain and Eva Marie Spring Cain.
Gayle attended Morgan County schools.
He worked as a bartender. He was a life member of the Loyal Order Moose Lodge #1483 in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
He is survived by son, Gayle Richard “Richie” Cain, Jr. and his wife, Teresa of Hedgesville, W.Va., and one daughter, Candi LuAnn Didawick and her husband, Philip of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Tammy Lynn Cain; one sister, Jean Elizabeth Ditch, and two brothers, Julian Cain and Donald Douglas Cain.
Private burial will be in Spohrs Crossroads Cemetery, Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
