Esther Marie Kave
1928-2023
Esther Marie Kave, age 95, of Fairmont, W.Va. and formerly of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Monday, October 23, 2023 at Fairmont Medical Center in Fairmont, W.Va.
Born June 23, 1928 in Morgan County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Clarence Elmer Wilson and Bertha Elizabeth Hovermale.
Esther was a member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church.
She worked at Prowler and Interwoven Mills. She was also a homemaker and loved flower gardening.
She is survived by daughter in law, Terry Lea Kave of Fairmont, W.Va.; one granddaughter, Heidi Lynn Handley of Bridgeport, W.Va.; one grandson, Kristopher Morgan Kave of Morgantown, W.Va.; three great-grandchildren, Jackson Handley, Isla Handley and Koen Kave and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Ford Kave; her son, Gregory Lynn Kave; one sister, Freeda E. Wallace and four brothers, Melvin Jack Wilson, H. Benton Wilson, Charles Vernon Wilson and Lester Lee Wilson.
