The Berkeley Springs Lady Indians soccer team was back on the pitch this past week with a pair of road games. On Wednesday, September 20 the Lady Indians traveled to Hagerstown, Md., for a contest at St. James.
St. James used a fast pace and jumped out to a 5-0 lead at the half. In the second half, St. James and Berkeley Springs each scored a goal each make the final score 6-1. Seirrah Hose scored the lone goal for the Lady Indians.
Goalkeeper Willow Rhoten had 11 saves in the contest.
On Thursday, September 21 the Lady Indians traveled to Martinsburg for a contest with the Class A A A Bull- dogs. Martinsburg took advantage of a tired Berkeley Springs team and took the 7-0 win. Willow Rhoten had 16 saves in goal for the Lady Indians.
Berkeley Springs (3-7) was be back in action this week with a home contest on Tuesday, September 26 with Keyser starting at 5 p.m. On Thursday, September 28 the Lady Indians will travel to Petersburg for a 5 p.m. contest. On Saturday, September 30 the Lady Indians will host North Marion at 10 a.m. at Morgan Field.
