Warm Springs Wolves back in action

The Warm Springs Wolves took action to the field on Labor Day weekend.

The Warm Springs Wolves were back in action Labor Day weekend at Morgan Field hosting Musselman Green and teams from Washington County, Md.

The morning started with the Pee Wee taking a loss to Musselman Green with a score of 33 to 0. This coaching staff is positive this young team is starting to catch on to turn the page to get that first win.

The Freshman Wolves took the field against the Washington County Ravens. With the Wolves down 7 to 2 at halftime, they were able to fight back in the second half and come out on top with a score of 22 to 14. Touchdowns were scored by Kaiman Proctor, Bradly Farris and Jasen Unger.

The Wolves defense was led by a total team effort the second half with sacks by Kaiman Proctor and Eli Omps. Thoryn McGuire forced a fumble that was recovered by Proctor.

The JV Wolves took on the Washington County Bears in a close game at halftime with a score of 6 to 0. The Bears were able to come back out after halftime and score two more times with a final score of 18 to 0. The Wolves were able to move the ball but were unable to get into the endzone.

The Varsity Wolves then took the field against the Bears.”We are very proud of the Varsity Wolves as they move to 3-1 on the year. They played textbook football on September 2, beating the Washington County Bears 41-0.” stated Coach Patrick Raymond.

With wins on Saturday that moves the Varsity and Freshman Wolves records to both 3 wins and 1 loss.

Stars of the week for Week 4: Pee Wee Emma Delph, Freshman Karalina Smith and Varsity Mia Rippion.

Warm Springs Wolves Cheerleaders had lots to cheer for again on Saturday.
