Delmar Edward Hoschar, age 69, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Monday, August 14, 2023 at his home.

Born September 17, 1953 in Ravenswood, W.Va., he was the son of the late Jesse Issiac and Lalia Gertrude Dillon Hoschar.

He was a Christian.

Delmar attended schools in Ravenswood.

He had worked with Penn Line Enterprises as a laborer on the guard rail crew department. Delmar also worked for John Reed and Hancock and Northwestern Transportation Co., Inc., for many years.

He enjoyed assembling model cars, restoring antique metal toys, hunting, fishing and working on cars.

Delmar is survived by his lifetime partner of 35 years, Angela Jean Morrison, at home, three children, Stacey Ilene Puffenberger of West Virginia, Zachary Merl Morrison and his wife, Tina of Berkeley Springs, and Monica Sue Holmes and her husband, Robert, Jr. of Great Cacapon, W.Va., two sisters, Diane Shamblin of Ripley, W.Va. and Donna Watkins of Sherman, W.Va., two brothers, Jesse Dean Hoschar of Alaska and Donald Hoschar of Kentucky, 13 grandchildren, Trevor Morrison, Cole, Joshua and Claire Puffenberger, Canyon, Isabella and Westen Morrison, Anestis Joseph Creager, Taylor, Robert III, Samuel, Ian and Iris Holmes, four great-grandchildren, James Miller, Mia Morrison, Bentley Puffenberger, Anakin Savage, one aunt, one uncle and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and brothers.

Services and burial will be private.
