As it always has, the Berkeley Springs High School golf team kicked off the 2023 fall athletics season with a match last week. Longtime head coach Dale McCumbee is doubling up his duties coaching both the Indians and the Warm Springs Middle School Wolves golf programs once again this year.
The Indians kicked off their season with a seven team event at the Woods Resort in Hedgesville. Berkeley Springs late last week.
The Indians finished in fourth place with a team score of 297. Washington (240), Martinsburg (249), Hedgesville (271) finished ahead of Berkeley Springs in the team scores.
Leading the way for Berkeley Springs was Truly Henry (93), Malcolm Johns (100), Dakota Hamrick (104) and Camden Barney (109).
