The Berkeley Springs-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce their first ever Apple Butter Festival logo contest.
Sponsored by Blue Flame, Inc, this contest is open to anyone of any age.
It doesn’t matter if you’re 8 and have never had a class, or 80 and have been a professional artist for most of your life, if there are apples trying to escape your pencils or paintbrush or computer, we want to see them. Be a part of Apple Butter Festival history, and win a cash prize, too.
“For 47 years we’ve had incredible professional artists donate their time and creativity to design beautiful logos for the Berkeley Springs Apple Butter Festival. This year we’re thrilled to see the art that the festival inspires in our community. The artists who have designed so many logos for us in the past will be part of the committee selecting the top designs,” said Chamber Executive Director Happy Rone.
First prize for this contest is $300, second is $150, and third is $75. The deadline is June 15, and more details and specifications of how to enter can be found on the Berkeley Springs – Morgan County Chamber of Commerce website.
After a committee selects their top designs, the public will be asked to vote for their favorite logo for festival t-shirts and other merchandise. The 48th Annual Berkeley Springs Apple Butter Festival returns October 7 & 8, 2023.
