Faerie Festival fills park with magical creatures

The third annual Bringing in the May Faerie Festival packed Berkeley Springs State Park with unique creatures, vendors and festive decorations last weekend. Festival organizer Bibi Hahn said vendors estimated a crowd of 2,000 people over the weekend.

Bringing in the May is free a Morgan Arts Council event to celebrate spring. Musical entertainment, games and vendors had offerings for festival goers in varied costumes, featuring fairy wings and other adornments.

Humans weren’t the only ones dressed in costume during the Faerie Festival on May 19-20.
