The Paw Paw High School track and field team was in action this week. The Pirates traveled to Keyser High School for the seven team meet on Tuesday, March 28.
On the boys side the Pirates finished in sixth place with 27 points. Leading Paw Paw was Dalton Kasekamp (first place, discus, 131’ 1” and third place, shot put, 45’ 8”). Also scoring was Donnie Tanouye (second place, long jump, 18’ 1/2”), and the 4×100 meter relay team of
Andrew Gilberto, Dredan Heath, RJ Ryan and Tanouye who finished in fifth place with a time of 50.32.
On the girls side the Lady Pirates finished in ninth place with 20.5 points. Paw Paw was led by Shayla Tanouye (third place, 400 meters, 1:12, 100 meter hurdles, sixth place, 19.27, long jump, third place, 13’9”), Pricilla Corbin (fourth place, long jump, 13’6 3⁄4”) and Myley Mullins (fifth place, shot put, 27’00”).
