Margaret Louise Billings
1936-2023
Margaret Louise Billings, 86, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., passed away Friday, February 17, 2023, at her home.
Born October 9, 1936, in Baltimore, Md., she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Howard Schriefer and Mary Barbara (Dorbert) Schriefer.
Margaret was a homemaker and a member of Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, James W. Billings; daughter, Theresa D. Meisel; son, James D. Billings; brother, Howard Lawrence Schriefer; 4 step grandchildren; and 4 step-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ellen Boehmlein.
Services will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Donald Edwin Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 13607 National Pike, Clear Spring, Md. Father Mikee Lecias will officiate. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Williamsport, Md.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Friday from 12 to 1 p.m.
