Wilma Louise Meyers
1928-2022
Wilma Louise Meyers, 94, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away, Friday, December 2, 2022, at Homewood at Williamsport.
Born Wednesday, July 25, 1928 in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Walter Neely and the late Agnes (Fleece) Neely.
Wilma graduated from Washington County Hospital School of Nursing. She was employed with the hospital as a registered nurse for 25 years. Wilma was a member of United Church of Christ. She volunteered many years for Hospice and was also a member of WCH Alumni Association and State Line Historical Society. She was a very giving person and anyone who met her, loved her.
She is survived by her children, Douglas E. Meyers, Cynthia L. Deitch and Deborah M. Kelso; sisters, Shirley Weber and Carolyn Faith; brother, Dennis Neely; grandchildren, Angela Smith, Emily Dunn and Logan Kelso; great-grandchildren, Asia, Savon, Camden Smith, Rose, Spencer, Audrey Dunn and Isla Kelso.
Wilma was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Irvin C. Meyers; daughter, Cathy L. Meyers; sisters, Helen Dodson and Donna J. Faith; and brother, Walter Neely, Jr.
There will be no viewing or service. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown, Md., with Rev. Jon Toms officiating.
