Forms for Lights of Love Tree due Nov. 28

The Paw Paw Parade Committee is hosting this year’s Christmas Parade on Sunday, December 4.

The parade begins at 4:30 p.m. and travels along Winchester Street. The committee will be offering five $50 cash prizes for the best entry, person, or animal that has the most Christmas Spirit.

Call 301-268-0191 to participate in the parade. Participants must sign up prior to the parade to enter the contest. Winners will be notified after the parade.

There will be a cocoa stand at the Bank of Romney sponsored by  Mountaineer Community Health Center beginning at 4 p.m. until after the tree lighting, along with Christmas Carolers.

The Lights of Love Tree is being sponsored by the Paw Paw High School Alumni Association. Honor your loved ones and support a local non-profit organization. Forms are at the Paw Paw Liberty, Paw Paw Post Office, and Bank of Romney. The tree will be lit immediately after the parade. The deadline for forms are Monday, November 28.
