Rone named interim Chamber director

The Morgan County-Berkeley Springs Chamber of Commerce announced on Monday the hiring of two interim staff members.

Jules Happy Rone, owner of Jules Enchanting Gifts shop in downtown Berkeley Springs, will be taking over as interim Executive Director.

Hayley Andrews is the interim Executive Administrator for the business organization.

Former Chamber director Colin Graham resigned in late October to purse his professional work in emergency medicine.

“I’m thrilled to help guide the Chamber forward and see what new energy and ideas we can add to the organization.  The board of directors has been so enthusiastic and I look forward to working with them, with Hayley, and with Laura Smith and the team from Travel Berkeley Springs.” said Rone.

“I’m proud to say that I’ve been a Chamber member for 25 years, and I’m hoping to take my knowledge of the town, the wonderful people who live and work here, and the Chamber of Commerce, and see how I can work to progress and connect the business community.”

Jules Happy Rone, right, has been named the interim Executive Director for the Morgan County-Berkeley Springs Chamber of Commerce. Hayley Andrews, left, is the Chamber’s interim administrator.

Rone was born and raised in Morgan County and has run  her own business for 25 years.

Hayley Andrews said she was “excited to do something good for the community and get to know the local businesses better.  I just love this town.”

Originally from Texas, Andrews moved here 12 years ago and lives in Morgan county with her husband, Justin, and her three children.

Chamber of Commerce Board President Becky Stotler said of the interim hires: “They’re both jumping right in with both feet.  We’re delighted with the professionalism and breath of fresh air they will bring to the Chamber membership.”

Together Rone and Andrews will be promoting and organizing the Chamber’s monthly Coffee & Connect mixers, monthly membership meetings, Small Business Saturday, Deck the Meters project, Economic Summit, Membership Reception, and Membership application renewal, while working with Chamber members to advance business in Berkeley Springs and Morgan County.

They look forward to speaking with members and prospective members about how the Chamber can work for the businesses of this community.  For more information call the Berkeley Springs-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce at 304-258-3738, visit or find them on Facebook.
