Peggy Lee Omps

Peggy Lee Omps 1949-2022 Peggy Lee Omps, 73, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at the Autumn Acres Personal Care Center. Peggy was born on July 19, 1949, Winchester, Va., the daughter of the late Ernest and Janet Yost Avey. She was a 1967 graduate of the Berkeley Springs High School and attended the Faith in God Chapel in Berkeley Springs. Peggy enjoyed baking, cooking, crafts, shopping and going to the beach. Peggy married Danny D. Omps on December 16, 1967, in Berkeley Springs, W.Va. Surviving with her husband of nearly 55 years is her daughter: Christie Butts of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; two brothers: Tim and John Avey both of Berkeley Springs, W.Va. and her granddaughter: Sara Butts of Virginia Beach, Va. A private graveside will be held at a later date in the Friendship Cemetery in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
