Paw Paw Volleyball takes wins over Lighthouse and Hyndman

On Tuesday, September 6, the Lady Pirates traveled to Cumberland, Md., to play Lighthouse Christian Academy and took the 3-0 win by the scores of 25-4, 25-15 and 25-20. Ciara Arnold led the Pirates with 16 service points, 10 aces, Miah Smith added 12 service points, 6 aces, 3 assists, Karyn Kerns had 7 service points, 2 aces, 1 assist, Alexis Kidwell 6 service points, 1 ace, Shayla Tanouye 6 service points, 3 aces, Britney Ramos 5 service points, Miley Mullins 4 service points, 1 ace, Kelsey Hayes 2 service points, 1 ace, and Grace Deschenes 1 service point. On Thursday, September 8, the Lady Pirates defeated the Hyndman Hornets 3-0 by the scores of 25-7, 25-6 and 25-19. Kerns led the Lady Pirates with 15 service points, 2 kills, 1 assist, 10 aces, Ramos added 13 service points, 1 ace, Mullins had 7 service points, 2 aces, Hayes 5 service points, 4 aces, Kidwell had 4 service points, 3 aces, Arnold had 3 service points, Smith had 2 service points, 1 ace, 5 assists. Paw Paw will be back on the court this Tuesday, September 13, when they travel to Berkeley Springs for a 6:30 p.m. contest.
