Wayne Allen Barton
1959-2021
Wayne Allen Barton, 62, Hancock, Md., passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
Born July 5, 1959, in Hagerstown, Md., he was the son of the late James H. Barton, Jr., and Pearl Lola Divel Barton.
He was a member of the Hancock Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by one son, Cassidy James Barton, Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; one daughter, Amy Jo Barton, Greencastle, Pa.; two grandchildren; one brother, Ronald E. Barton and wife, Susan, Hancock, Md.; and “Best Friend” Ray Reed, Hancock, Md.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Lindsey Lynn Barton.
A memorial service in honor of Wayne will be held at a later date.
