Susan Nellie Crane Mann, age 73, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at the Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility in Kearneysville, W.Va.

Born November 10, 1948 in Boston, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Hugh Roy and Dorothy May Mussaw Crane.

She was a Protestant.

She was a high school graduate and attended two years of college in England.

Susan had worked as an Administrative Assistant with U.S. News and later with Century 21 Real Estate in Berkeley Springs.

She was a member of Women of the Moose Chapter #1311. She enjoyed music, making necklaces, gambling and travel. Susan loved being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Susan is survived by her daughter, Lisa Jo Hutchinson of Berkeley Springs, two sisters, Sue Long of Florida and Karen A. Sellner of Clarksville, Tenn., two brothers, Stephen P. Crane of Columbus, Ohio and John C. Crane of Wilmington, Ohio, six grandchildren, Kiera Englebright of Huntersville, N.C., Marra May Hutchinson, Brooklyn Dawn Hutchinson, Payton Mann and Colton McCumbee, all of Berkeley Springs and Ricki Mann of Hedgesville, W.Va., four great grandchildren, Sylas Miller, Ares Miller and Roy Lee “Billy Bob” Kuykendall, all of Berkeley Springs and Bryce Englebright of Huntersville, N.C. and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Hunter Mann, one son, Richard Lee Mann and one sister, Lydia Havermale.

Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va. with Pastor Dave Kidwell officiating.

Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery was private. There was a reception at the Moose Lodge, 593 N. Washington Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va. following the service.
