Shirley Ann Stotler, age 68, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Monday, February 21, 2022 at Winchester Medical Center.

Born July 6, 1953 in Cumberland, Md., she was the daughter of the late Lester Emanuel and Doris Alpharetta Bishop Keefer.

She was a member of the Independent Church of God in Hedgesville, W.Va., where she was very active in church affairs.

Shirley was a graduate of Hancock High School and had been a homemaker for most of her life.

She liked singing in the church choir, camping, mowing, doing puzzles and was an avid quilter.

She leaves her beloved dogs, “Molly,” “Sadie” and “Little Ann.”

Shirley is survived by her children, Sandy Sue Kidwell and her husband Michael, of Great Cacapon, W.Va., and Richard Ellsworth Stotler, Jr. and his wife Bonnie, of Berkeley Springs; one brother, Michael Lee Keefer, of Maugansville, Md.; one sister, Donna Carol Shirley, of Big Pool, Md.; three grandchildren, Bradley Michael Kidwell and Brandi Nicole Creek and her husband David, all of Great Cacapon and Andrew James Stotler and his partner, Kierra Ragland, of Berkeley Springs;, three great grandchildren, Dalton Michael Kidwell and Josie Rose Kidwell, both of Great Cacapon and Alaya Lorraine Stotler, of Berkeley Springs and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Ellsworth Stotler on March 2, 2018 and four brothers, Melvin Keefer, Robert Allen Keefer, Lester “June” Keefer and Steven Lester Keefer.

Funeral services were conducted at 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 26, at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va. Pastors Lynnie and Ada Ambrose officiated. Interment was private.
