Ronnie Lee “Dooze” Smith Jr., age 41, formerly of McConnellsburg, Pa., passed away on June 8, 2022, at his home.
Born on December 12, 1980, in McConnellsburg, Pa., he was the son of the late Ronnie Lee Smith, Sr. and Deborah Robinson of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Michelle Ricker of McConnellsburg, Pa., children, Destiny Ricker of Hustontown, Pa. and Ronnie Smith III of McConnellsburg, Pa., siblings, Brandy (wife of Gregory) Glaser of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., Samantha (companion of Thomas Murphy) Smith of Great Cacapon, W.Va., Eric (husband of Amy) Smith of Great Cacapon, W.Va., Holly (companion of Justin Lacek) Smith of Greencastle, Pa., his grandmother Evelyn Sowers of Hancock, Md. and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ronnie was a devout Christian and member of the Tri-State Fellowship Church in Hagerstown, Md.
He loved his children, playing music, and reading his Bible. He was an avid fisherman and self-proclaimed “Bass Master.”
Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
The family has entrusted Ronnie’s care to Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home in McConnellsburg, PA.
