Roland Alston Bailey, age 66, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Winchester Medical Center.

Born July 2, 1955 in Baltimore, Md., he was the son of the late Bernard Alston and Frances Rebecca Henderson Bailey.

He was a Protestant. Roland was a graduate of Paw Paw High School.

He worked with Apple Valley Waste, P&W Excavating, Duncan Brothers and Seely Pine Furniture.

Roland was a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1483 and Sons of the American Legion Post #60 both in Berkeley Springs.

He enjoyed fishing, camping, socializing and sitting around campfires.

Roland is survived by his wife of 46 years, Donna Louise Stinebaugh Bailey at home, his three sons, Jonathan Bernard “JB” Bailey and Tommy Wayne Bailey and his fiancé, Lexi Hauck all of Great Cacapon, W.Va., David Alston Bailey and his fiancé, Tiffany Swope, both of Berkeley Springs, two brothers, Marvin Lee Bailey of Berkeley Springs, Leonard Charles Bailey of Florida, three grandchildren, Alexis Marie Bailey and Alston Taylor Bailey, both of Berkeley Springs, Tommy Wayne Bailey, Jr. of Great Cacapon and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Roland was preceded in death by two brothers, Leland Alston Bailey and Marshall Boyce Bailey. Services will be announced at a later date.

Burial will be private.
