Robert Victor “Vic” Wilson
1945-2021
Robert Victor “Vic” Wilson, age 76, of Warfordsburg, Pa., passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at the Fulton County Medical Center, in McConnellsburg, Pa.
Born January 30, 1945, in Bedford, Pa., he was the son of the late William Walter Wilson and Rose C. (Howsare) Wilson; and the husband of Gail A. Stahle-Wilson.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served as a generator operator while stationed in Germany.
He later worked at Schmitt Baking Company, in Cumberland, Md.; and was a former Union Township Supervisor.
He was a member of the Buck Valley Christian Church, in Warfordsburg; and the Fort Cumberland Post 13 American Legion, in Cumberland, Md.
Vic was loved by so many amazing friends and family, and he will be greatly missed; but this is only a temporary good-bye.
In addition to his wife, Gail, he is survived by one son, Victor Levi Wilson, of Warfordsburg; two sisters, Alda Harper, of Culpeper, Va., and Joan Sells, of Bedford, Pa.; two brothers, John Wilson, of Bedford, Pa., and Isaac Wilson, of Muncy, Pa.; and a special niece and nephew, Cody Schetrompf, of Front Royal, Va., and Chasity Jensen, of Warfordsburg.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Joseph Harper; and a sister-in-law, Betty Jane Wilson.
Services will be held at the convenience of his family.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to The Hope Center, 215 W. Church St., Hagerstown, MD 21740.
