Patti Jane Mills
1960-2022
Patti Jane Mills, age 61, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Winchester Medical Center.
Born September 30, 1960 at Morgan County War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Thurman Leroy “Junior” and Helen Jane Eppinger Younker, Jr.
She was a Christian.
Patti graduated from Berkeley Springs High School and became a paralegal, studying at Hagerstown Business College. She worked for 25 years, in the Berkeley County Prosecutor’s Office and also worked in the family business, Jr.’s Supermarket.
She was active with the Salvation Army and had been President of the Morgan County Men’s Softball League.
Patti enjoyed travel, crocheting, knitting, car races and loved the beach.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Randy Lee Mills, at home; two sons, Jason Lee Mills and his wife Laura Grace, of Hedgesville, W.Va., and Jeremy Lewis Mills, of Berkeley Springs; two brothers, Darrin Leroy Younker and his wife Tracy, and Dennis Todd Younker; two grandchildren, Corinne Olivia Mills and Blair Matthew Mills; three nieces and nephews, Nathaniel Younker, Sara Younker and Krisha McCoy, all of Berkeley Springs.
The family received friends on Saturday, February 26, at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va. Services and interment were private.
