Melody Ann Holliday, age 62, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at her home.
Born March 1, 1959 in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Samuel Jefferson and Eileen Marie Stotler Swink.
She was a Christian. She was a graduate of Berkeley Springs High School.
Melody had worked at STS, Homeopathy Works, Vanguard Products, Coolfont and the 911 Call Center.
She was a member of Women of the Moose Chapter #1311. She enjoyed reading, playing cards and liked to crochet.
She is survived by her sister, Cherry Lane Bernhard and her husband Raymond; three brothers, Samuel Jefferson Swink II, Calvin Ray Swink and his wife Donna Jean and Michael Lee Swink and his wife Diane, all of Berkeley Springs and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Holliday, Jr.; her son, Ronald Michael “Bubba” Cox II and one brother, Patrick Timothy Swink.
Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 27, at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs. Pastor Rodney C. Truax officiated.
Interment was in Greenway Cemetery.
