1955-2022

Mary Magdalene Stotler, age 66, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at the Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility in Kearneysville, W.Va.

Born May 8, 1955 at War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Turner Nelson and Agnes Louise Close Smith.

She was a member of Berkeley Springs Church of the Nazarene. Mary attended Berkeley Springs High School and had worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse and various institutions including War Memorial Hospital. She loved to be with her family and enjoyed gardening and crafting.

Mary is survived by her husband, Belmont “Randy” Randall Stotler, Jr., at home, her children, Anthony Randall Stotler and his wife Christina, Jeremy Keith Stotler and his wife Kristi and David Brian Stotler and his wife Nancy, all of Berkeley Springs, two sisters, Juanita Kelley of Berkeley Springs, and Barbara Spade of New Castle, Del., eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 23 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va. where services will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Pastor Rodney Truax will officiate. Interment will be private.
