Linda Lou Cooper
1949-2021
Linda Lou Cooper, 72, of Berkeley Springs W.Va., passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at the Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, Va.
Born September 14, 1949, in Martinsburg, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Edward Norris and Helen (Weir) Norris and wife of Fred A. Cooper, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
She was of Christian faith. She loved her husband, children and grandchildren and spending her time with them. She enjoyed road trips that consisted of one or many days, always traveling and sightseeing with the love of her life.
She was a 1968 graduate of Berkeley Springs High School.
She had been employed as a waitress with Coolfont Restaurant, in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., Weavers Restaurant, in Hancock, Md., the Parkview Inn, in Berkeley Springs and the Washington House Restaurant. She retired from Rayloc, in Hancock, in 2002.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Michael A. Cooper; one daughter, Kathie Cooper Mowery and husband Andy; two grandsons, Kenneth Mowery and David Mowery; one granddaughter, Grace Swisher and two sisters, Evelyn Harmon and Mary Harmon.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Angela G. Cooper Swisher; three sisters, Carol Herrell, Ruth Bennet and Virginia Silvers; two brothers, Kenneth Harmon and James Harmon and one nephew, James Herrell.
Funeral service was held at Grove Funeral Home on Monday, November 15 at 7 p.m., Pastor Tom Snyder officiated. Burial was held on Tuesday, November 16, in Back Creek Valley Full Gospel Cemetery, 131 Norman Silver Drive, Hedgesville, W.Va.
Arrangements were entrusted to Grove Funeral Home, in Hancock, Md.
