Kevin Wade Kesecker

1958-2021

Kevin Wade Kesecker, 63, of Moorefield, W.Va., passed away peacefully after a battle with cancer on November 30, 2021.

He spent his final days surrounded by close family and friends.

Born June 4, 1958, he was the son of the late Wade Kesecker and the late Shirley Miller Kesecker.

He attended Berkeley Springs High School and at an early age joined his father working on cars and building houses. He married his high school sweetheart and they had two beautiful daughters.

Kevin continued his career with carpentry at H&W Construction of Winchester for over 25 years.

Kevin was a simple country man that loved the outdoors, had a heart of gold and enjoyed being with friends and family. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and passed away in his favorite season…hunting season. In his later years, he liked to travel and tried to hook as many fish as he could.

Kevin is survived by his daughters Melissa and Nicole; grandson Aiden; sisters Belinda (Steve) and Tara (Ted); former spouse Beverly; one niece and two nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

At his request, no services will be held.

A gathering will occur to celebrate his life, Saturday, June 4, 2022 which would have been his 64th birthday.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to make a donation to cancer research to honor him.
