Judith Benson
Judith “Lovely” Benson, age 80, of Hancock, Md., passed away peacefully on September 17, 2021, surrounded by her family.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard H. “Dick” Benson; her parents, Lynn and Mary Munson; two children, Robert Benson, and Sarah Sanders; and siblings, Gary Munson, and Joan Munson.
She is survived by seven children, John Benson, Mary Miller, Lisa Arnold, Kathy Hosek, Barbara Hassler, Richard D. Benson and Wynn Cole; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and siblings, Charity Miller and Nathaniel “Nat” Munson.
Her funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock.
The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, prior to the service, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations in her name may be made to a charity of your choice.
