Jeanette Irene Buday
1935-2022
Jeanette Irene Buday, age 86, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Monday, July 11, 2022 at her home while under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle.
Born December 2, 1935 in Mount Carmel, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Anna Stetz Hosgood.
She was a woman of strong Catholic faith, where she was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Berkeley Springs.
She worked a lifetime career as an administrative assistant and then a legal secretary and retired as a Human Resource Director for a Mental Health Agency.
Jeanette loved cooking in her retirement years.
Jeanette is survived by her children, Helen Yanez, Roberta Buday, Kathleen Buday, Mark Buday and his wife, Millie Roman Buday, Stephen Vincent Buday and two granddaughters, Savannah Buday and Sydne Faith Yanez.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Vincent Buday on July 27, 2013 and one son, Gene Paul Buday on January 22, 2011.
Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 67 Liberty Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va., with Father Mikee Lecias as celebrant. Burial will be private.
