Glenda Leona Kyne Weller, age 68, of Hedgesville, W.Va., died on Monday, September 6, 2021 at her home while under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle.
Born February 13, 1953 in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Edward Glenjoy and Opal Leona Wills Payne.
She was of the Methodist faith.
Glenda was a graduate of Berkeley Springs High School and had worked as a babysitter. She was a homemaker in recent years.
She enjoyed sewing, puzzles, decorating for all occasions and Facebook. She loved to receive pictures of her family.
She is survived by her husband, Faron Lynn Weller, at home, three children, Tina Louise Johnson of Auburn, Wash., James Henry Kyne, Jr. of Mukwonago, Wis. and Billy Joe Kyne of Watertown, N.Y., six sisters, Vickie Mason and Christine Whitacre, both of Hedgesville, Anna Somers of Berkeley Springs, Melissa Whitacre of Slanesville, W.Va., Kimberley Wills of Milburn, Del. and Elizabeth Wills of Bunker Hill, W.Va., two brothers, Larry Payne, Sr. of Sleepy Creek, W.Va. and Johnny Wills, Jr. of Berkeley Springs, 10 grandchildren, Joshua Johnson and Alexis Johnson, both of Auburn, Wash., Tyler Kyne, Roan Kyne and Sophie Kyne, all of Mukwonago, Wis., Emily Daniels of Suffolk, Va., Berkleigh Howser and Brady Howser, both of Glen Burnie, Md., Billy Kyne 2 of Shepherdstown, W.Va. and Trinity Kyne of Hedgesville, six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James Henry Kyne, Sr., one grandson, Richard “Ricky” Cole II, one sister, Betty Omps and one brother, Scotty Payne.
Funeral services will be conducted at 5 p.m. on Friday, September 10, 2021 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va. where friends may call from 2-5 p.m. Private burial will be in Mahnes Chapel Cemetery.
One of the strongest, most caring, kindest, stubbornly independent women that we know. She is the Heart of this entire family, not just her own lil one.
