Everyday Outdoors: Baby robins

Most of the columns I write, and photos I take, are hunting and fishing related. But there are lots of other interesting creatures to encounter in the great outdoors. Recently, I had the opportunity to observe a Momma Robin on her nest, and was able to watch and photograph her two babies each day, until they were big enough to fly. There was a third egg in the nest which did not hatch.

As you look at the series of photos, pay particular attention to the images from the 20th through the 22nd. I thought it was amazing how much they grew and changed in 48 hours. There are lots of miracles to see, if we just take time to look.
